Seeking Utopia

Seeking Utopia is a Virtual Reality game that aims to convey the theme that a world like Utopia never exists and that people should act nice and friendly towards each other, even in the imperfect world. 

The players gradually explore this theme by following the story plot in the game as the character Mike meets different other characters and has conversation with them.

There are an introductory game level and three formal game level. Seeking Utopia is a keyboard-control game in which the user manipulates the motion of the game character to avoid flying bombs and treacherous landscapes. 

 

I delivered the mechanic portion of the game with Unity by making use of public asset packages. The game consists of event-triggered conversations, keyboard-triggered jumping motion, conditional collisions on various colliders, and auto-advancement of game level upon completion.
